This is just what the 1997 to 2003 Grand Prix needs to give it a new more aggressive look!
The F.1 Grand Prix Ram Air Hood is built using the OEM steel hood frame for the underside
and the finest fiberglass resins to ensure excellent fit and finish. Each hood is built using
a jig made from the factory hood so that it fits like a factory hood! The edges where the
fiberglass top and steel underside bottom meet are seamless. There is no rough edge.
This steel frame also allows you to use the factory struts and hinges making the hood a snap
to install. This hood comes with "real" injection molded grills. Has real grill heat extractors
in the back of the hood which allows heat to escape from the engine compartment thereby
allowing the engine compartment to run cooler! A lot of the 1/4 mile people like this feature!
Injection molded grills come with the hood. We have also decided to go ahead with a plenum
to make the hood "fully functional" that will attach to the air box. Now available 2004.

With our hoods you will get seamless edges, steel frame work which gives the factory hood
latch
for strength and safety, utilization of factory struts and hinges, real heat extractors
and full air flow
into the engine compartment without having to purchase any other parts.
Our hood is functional with out a stock air box. You have the option to run your factory airbox,
thrasher or a straight K&N filter system. We have a few customers that have modified it to
work
with the slp box. We know that individuality is important as well as quality!
Take a look at the
underside of this frame picture there are no seams along the edges.
There is lots of open air flow
going into the engine compartment. Your engine compartment
will stay cooler and hot air will
escape through the heat extractors in the back of the hood.
