Q: Which air box does the all fiberglass hood fit to?
A: It fits to the stock air box or the MPD CAI (air box), however can be easily modified to fit any CAI on the market.
Important information about installing your hood:
All ram air hoods comes unpainted, ready to prep and paint. If you do not already have a shop in mind to do the finishing touches,
look for one that has experience with fiberglass and has worked with aftermarket hoods. Your local performance shop may also
have recommendations. Your body shop will want to test fit the hood immediately upon receiving it. The body shop will need to
block sand and prime it prior to painting. This is where a good body shop is important. Typical labor time to prefit, prep, and paint
is usually about 8 hours. Average costs are about $450-500. Metallic colors might be slightly more.
